BOAT TRUMPET HORN

Questo scatto descrive essenzialmente un po di groove nel sound, soprattutto nel riff prima del bridge tendente al funk in chiave boogie che prepara l'ascoltatore per il finale swing. Il fingerpicking vibrato apre il solo con influenze fusion in stile vagamente east coast. Il mid-tempo swing feel con uno slow beat vibrato rende il pezzo piu easy listening.
La chromatic harmonic structure ha il compito di rendere piu cool un sample, altrimenti troppo delta per un casual ambient.
Il tutto crea un flavour vagamente Lo-Fi ed un ensemble che con l'aggiunta di un layer slide-steel condito da Storytelling Lyrics, crea un pattern assolutamente percepibile in questo scatto.

I promised my buddy Alex that I would throw up a brief fingerpicking example when the old fingers were up to it...about as good as it's gonna get this morning! LOL This is the beginning of an original piece I'm working on. In younger days used to do a lot more fingerpicking (Malaguena, etc.), but these days I'm happy just to play at all! :)
